Stone Arch (1x), Hennepin Ave. (1x), Merriam St. (1x), 11th Ave. (2x)
From the house to the downtown streets, with BCS guys--Glen, Steve, and Justin. This was the first BCS run of the semester and, as I was jogging, realized how much I've missed the camaraderie over the colder winter months. Also realized how there is something unique about early morning running, running while you and the world-at-large are still rubbing the crust out of the eyes, remembering just how it is exactly that one foot goes in front of the other.

Lake St. (2x), Franklin St. (2x), Bridge Which Must Not Be Named (1x)
Greenway (GW) to the Mississippi, and around the river loop a couple times--once with Ashley! Couldn't pass up the opportunity to run through +59F outside. Spring may be just around the proverbial corner.

Three Rivers State Park, with Ashley. Sunny and warm at +61F. Even though recent temps have been nice, the ground seems hesitant to let winter pass. Still sheets of ice on the trail, and muddy puddles where the ice has given up the battle. Lots of tip-toeing along the trail sides. While most of the run was relatively fun, even if stop and go, Ashley did take a tumble toward the end:
All is well though. I told her real runners take falls every now and then. I'm unsure if this was comforting.

Sun-PM: 6 mi (:57)
Pike Island Bridge (2x)
Fort Snelling State Park. +64F, but still lots of mud and side-of-the-trail-tip-toeing. Which I've discovered is a good calf workout. Hopefully another week of warmer weather will air out the trails.
Totals: 45.5 mi (7:41), 20 bridges
