A gorgeous fall morning.

Easy out and back from the house.

09-25-13
Wed: 0
Rest.

09-26-13
Thu-AM: 5 mi (:53) // Mississippi River trails (MRT)
Easy miles along the river trails. The colors are turning! Still haven't caught any leaves yet, but my eyes are upward . . .

09-27-13
Fri-AM: 7 mi (:58) // Fort Snelling
Pike Island (2x)
Couple loops around Pike Island, with the second loop a little faster (~7:15/mi pace) than the first. Had the island mostly to myself, other than the tractor that was already cutting in the winter trails . . . gulp! Guess it's almost that time of year. Nice light rain shower at the end. Ashley and Sam explored the paved "backdoor entrance" route.

09-28-13
Sat-AM: 8 mi (1:26) // MRT
Running in the rain . . . gotta love it! Almost left my rain jacket at the car, but glad I carried it for a couple miles. Something beautiful about running through a warm rain shower. Very peaceful.

09-29-13
Sun-PM: 2 mi (:20) // MRT
Short, easy run along the river trails near dusk. Just shaking out the legs after a long day. Not much variety this week, but it will take a while for the trails near the house to induce boredom:

Totals: 41.0 mi (6:23, 8 bridges)
