Mon-AM: 10 mi (1:29)
Intercity (2x), Lake St. (1x), Franklin St. (1x)
Greenway (GW) along the Mississippi. A hot one @+88F and sunny. Ran the first 1.5 miles with Ashley before heading south along the river to explore some new terrain. Legs felt good, though still a little fatigued from the weekend's speed and hills. Tagged a new bridge, the "Intercity Bridge." The sign on the bridge itself read "Mississippi River Bridge," but after digging around a little once I got home it appears that it can also go by any of the following: Intercity Bridge, Ford Parkway Bridge, 46th Street Bridge. I like the sound of Intercity, so, we'll go with that.

Afton bridges (7x!)
Afton State Park; Ashley and Momma Jo tagged along for good company! The more I explore the trails here, the more I enjoy them! It's been a while since I've gone 15+ miles without having to re-trace steps. The weather was dark and drizzly, which is quite undesirable in April but quite the refreshment in June, and which has a way of bringing the normally more subtle creepiness of the forest right to the front of the creational canvas:

Also noteworthy: I startled some deer and what I thought was either a coyote or a wolf towards the end of the run. (Upon further research, "urban coyotes" are somewhat common around these parts.) Armed with just my water bottle, I felt quite unprepared for a fight -- though I did open the spout, just in case.

Bridge Which Must Not Be Named (2x), Sabo (1x)
GW to Mississippi trails. More than a few dead-ends and detours, but they were of the sort that advance the adventure instead of shutting it down. Lots of people to dodge out on the Greenway, mostly cyclers.
Totals: 61.0 mi (9:39, 22 bridges)
